Advocates of Winter
Winter Wildlands Alliance was founded at the dawn of the 21st Century to represent backcountry skiers and human-powered winter recreation on America’s public lands. We are an alliance of grassroots organizations, conservationists, outdoor industry partners, backcountry skiers and snowboarders, Nordic skiers, snowshoers, winter mountaineers, snow scientists, educators and many others who are devoted to protecting America’s wild snowscapes.
Design Approach
Our goal was to develop design themes and elements that carried the Winter Wildlands Alliance brand and helped to take the next progressive steps in the evolving growth of the WWA brand. The challenge was working within the education and advocacy roles that have to take on the ever-changing political and social impacts that face the backcountry community.
